ValueOptions, the nation’s largest independent behavioral health care company, has been selected by the Maryland Department of Health and Mental Hygiene to provide Administrative Services to the state.   The Maryland Department of Health and Mental Hygiene is expecting to provide a wide range of clinical, administrative, and provider/consumer services for Medicaid insured. To launch this exciting new venture, the Collaborative is partnering with Maryland -based Staffing, Etc. to staff this new program. We are seeking qualified candidates for full time Care Manager positions.  These opportunities are in the managed care setting with full benefits including Health, Dental and 401K.  

Clinical Care Mangers

Exercise your assessment and case management skills as a Care Manager in a dynamic environment in which you help members access a broad range of cutting-edge resources.  You will help manage members who are admitted to facilities; collaborate with providers to determine alternate levels of care and to facilitate transfers to network facilities and providers whenever possible; facilitate coordination of care with other care managers to assure continuity of care; evaluate clinical appropriateness of treatment using professional knowledge within VOI clinical and worksite guidelines and renders certification decisions or seek consultations for non-certification decisions and so much more. Bilingual (Spanish) candidates a plus! 
 

Masters Degree in mental health field (MSW, etc.) This position requires licensure in a mental health related field (RN, Ph.D., LCSW, LPC etc.) 3-5 years experience in psychiatric or substance abuse treatment.  Experience in settings that including inpatient, partial, &/or outpatient care preferred.   
 

Psychiatric RNs - Up to $1,000 Sign on Bonus
 
Experienced Psychiatric RNs for contract and per diem assignments in Washington, DC.  Minimum 2 years of acute psychiatric care required.  DC licensure and current health information required.
 
Psychiatric Technicians
 
Experience Psych Techs needed for per diem assignments in Washington, DC.  Minimum 2 years of in patient psychiatric experience needed.  Must have current health information which includes, physical, PPD or Chest X-Ray and proof of immunizations.
 
School Health Opportunities

Maryland- Prince Georges County
 
 
RNs-(Private Duty) Experienced RNs needed for entire school year to provide private duty 1:1 care for special education students. 
Nurses provide portal to portal care by accompanying the student from home to school and back home. 
 

RN must have

Minimum 2 years experience in Home Health or Pediatrics

Experience with Trach care, suctioning, and G-tube feedings

Must be willing to accompany child portal to portal to school and home.

Current Virginia or compact state license and CPR
